Yantian International — WFHL Nylon Composite Pulley

In January 2023, Weilong provided Yantian International Container Terminals with 8 sets of nylon composite pulleys of the WFHL750×230×106 model. These pulleys are used in the hoisting mechanism of RTG (Rubber - Tired Gantry Crane).
Product Highlights
  1. The nylon rope groove can extend the service life of the steel wire rope by more than one - third.
  2. After 5 - year operation tests on RTG installation, the service life of the rope groove is 5 - 8 years (about 1 - 1.6 million TEUs).
  3. The weight is only two - thirds of that of a cast pulley, with a small transmission inertia.
  4. When it reaches the end of its service life, only the nylon rope groove needs to be replaced, without replacing the entire pulley.
  5. Patent number: ZL 2022 2 2853188.7. The material is modified and reinforced nylon, with a wear resistance of 6/40000 mm/h, a friction coefficient of ≤0.25, and a deflection temperature under load of ≥180°C.
At present, this batch of pulleys is in good operating condition, and all indicators meet the expectations.
